Overview
Suitable for all ages
While the museum offers quite a lot that will keep kids happily entertained, this recommendation from a local Mum is specifically for ‘Discovery’ on the 3rd floor. The theme for this area is natural history and it includes a fossil dig. Models of animals such as a giraffe and meerkat are there for a hands on, up close look and explore by curious kids.
A trip to the museum can be tied into a tram ride as the stop 12 is right nearby. For more tram information see here. You can also enjoy a runaround in the Botanic Gardens within which the museum is set.
