This central park and playground is a hub for the local community when time away from the beach is needed. There’s a large grassy area for running around, picnics, kite flying, ball games etc.

There’s also lots of playground equipment, some aimed at preschoolers including swings, small slides, an abacus and others aimed at older kids such as monkey bars, rocktopus, swings, rock climbing walls etc. If you venture into the forested area, you’ll discover more equipment hidden away. There’s a long metal slide and a balance beam. There are also some short cycle tracks with good jumps to be had for an adventurous cyclist!

At one end of the domain, there’s a skate ramp and at the other end, a tennis court so you might want to bring the required equipment with you. There’s some seating and a few picnic tables dotted around including one undercover with a BBQ. There are also toilets and plenty of parking. There’s a large Four Square shop on the main road if you need any supplies (drinks, ice creams, BBQ or picnic food etc).
