Sunday Markets, Motueka

Overview

Suitable for All ages

The market in Motueka sells lots of different things – it incorporates a Farmers’ Market where local growers and producers sell fruit and veg, freshly baked goodies and cheese. But there’s also a craft market with locally and imported handmade clothes, jewellery and toys.

A section of the market is also dedicated to 2nd hand items. There’s plenty for older kids to browse through and find treasures to spend their pocket money on!

For kids of all ages, there are often activities aimed at kids like face painting or making animals out of balloons. Occasionally there might be a bouncy castle and buskers providing entertainment during the Buskers Festival in February. The area where the market sets up is next to a reserve which is a great space for running around and has a playground too.

There are toilets behind the I-Site building.
