Stoney Oaks Wildlife Park, Inglewood, Taranaki

Overview

Suitable for all ages

This farm park is home to an interesting range of farm animals that kids can interact with if they want. You can go into the animal paddocks and pat or brush them. There are also bottles that can be bought for $5 if kids are interested in feeding the animals. The animals include Kune Kune, miniature horses, goats and rabbits. There is also a small playground, a little lake with a boat that you can row and a fairy path through native bush. Kids enjoy looking for the hidden fairies and fairy houses along the track and there’s now a treehouse for kids to explore along this route too. Opening hours are very limited and it’s always worth checking their Facebook page or phoning, if you’re planning a visit.
