You’ll know you’ve arrived at this art museum when you see the full size steam engine outside the main entrance. Put $2 in and see the train ‘come alive’ with lights, train noises and fire breathing out of the chimney.

It’s certainly a museum with a difference. Loosely based on the idea of ‘Steampunk’ which is how people of the C19th viewed the future, this is a collection of rooms with objects to marvel at, touch and sometimes listen to, made from recycled materials. The Portal is especially recommended. Lots of detail that younger kids might miss but can still enjoy.
