There have been hot salt water pools on this site since 1903 – thought to benefit lots of different illnesses! Today this is a complex made up of several different pools of varying temperatures. For families there’s a cold ‘active’ pool which starts off very shallow and gradually gets deeper. Despite it being cold, older kids especially love it! There’s also a family ‘relaxing’ pool heated to 36 degrees and 2 spas heated to 38 degrees. For little ones there’s a very shallow toddlers’ pool heated to 26-27 degrees. In addition there’s a separate lap pool. There are always 2 or 3 life guards on duty although it’s important to actively supervise your own kids at all times as well.

The pools can be used whatever the weather. There’s a cafe onsite.
