Napier Aquatic Centre Spray Park

Overview

Suitable for all ages

Formerly known as Onekawa pools, there is a year round indoor pool that has the only indoor hydroslides in Hawke’s Bay, but this recommendation is for the summer outdoor splash pad. There is no standing water here so it’s great for all ages with lots of fountains and spraying water coming from different heights and angles.

There’s an outdoor area which includes seating under shade sails, a playground, including flying fox and a trampoline. There are also coin operated BBQs for use or take a picnic and enjoy a good few hours on a hot day.

This is a much cheaper and better destination for those with toddlers than the water options at Splash Planet (which have height restrictions and the water is cold).
