Erik’s began in Queenstown but has extended to Wanaka and is famous for the high quality of the food being produced. Rather than a shop, it’s a van selling fish and chips and while orders can be ready in 10 minutes, you can also pre order online or via phone with delivery also an option for a fee.
As well as a few different options of battered fish, there’s handmade hotdogs, cauliflower bites, red onion wedges and of course chips. Desserts include a unique deep fried kiwifruit! All the food on offer is nut free, produced in a gluten free kitchen so is approved by Coeliac New Zealand and is certified Halal. Most food is also dairy free.
