This is the largest swimming pool complex in the area and if you can’t get out to the beach for any reason, it makes a good alternative. There’s a lap pool, leisure pool with waves, toddlers’ pool with waterfall feature and a beach area. There’s also a hydroslide, although it doesn’t operate continually, so it’s worth checking the times in contact info and warning your kids if they’re expecting to spend most of the visit on the slide. Some reports suggest that paying for the slide when it’s busy is a waste of money, as the limited operating times mean you can spend most of the time queueing and only get one or 2 turns. Term time this pool sometimes has Friday Fun Nights for 8-13 year olds. Look at their Facebook page here to check when the next Fun Night is.

There’s also a cafe onsite.

Some families have said the changing rooms aren’t always too clean, the family change space is quite cramped and the showers are temperamental. If you prepare for these things though, the actual pool area is worth a visit!

Outside of the pool is a playground with swings, a slide and climbing structure and a couple of spinning pieces. There’s also a skatepark with bowl and basketball court outside the nearby community centre.
