Suitable for Under 14
This playground is probably most famous for having a bright yellow aeroplane with a slide coming out of it, as one of the pieces of equipment! The sign says it’s for the use of kids under 14 years old. But there’s equipment suitable for all ages including a momentum swinging beam, ropes for climbing and a hamster wheel.
It’s fully fenced and right on SH2 if you’re looking to break a journey on that highway. There are toilets designed for little people and picnic tables set under the big old trees.

Address: 30 Main Street (SH2) between Cambridge and Dawson Streets at the northern end of Pahiatua. There are a few car parking spaces outside the playground gates on Dawson Street.
