Overview
Suitable for all ages
This is a popular hub with locals and visitors throughout the day. There are a couple of different menus ensuring food is available the whole time they’re open from breakfast to lunch to dinner and snacks. It can pay to book a table at any time but especially over public holiday weekends and during the summer.
You can eat inside (with a roaring fire during colder months) or in garden out the back. Wood fired pizza, steak, fish and chips are some of the dinner options and all are done well. The restaurant is opposite Waimea domain which has a playground, if kids need to go outside for a run around while waiting for food (an adult will need to go with as it’s across the main road) but the staff are also very relaxed and tolerant of kids. There’s a toy box for younger kids, high chairs and a change table.
