There are 4 branches of this cafe around Hawke’s Bay all serving Bay Espresso’s own locally roasted coffee but this recommendation is for the original cafe as it’s the only one the reviewer has been to.

They do a great breakfast with a good selection of choices on the menu, as well as cabinet food. There’s a kids’ menu which includes mini smoothies and a fully fenced outside seating area (although currently no play equipment, kids are welcome to hang out there). There are highchairs and a box of toys inside.

Food and drinks are available to takeaway if you can’t stay. Very friendly staff.
