If you’re in or passing through Taupo on a Saturday this weekly market is worth checking out. Whether you’re stocking up on picnic ingredients, looking for a snack to eat there and then or the kids are have pocket money to spend, there are over 60 stalls to look at. Most of what’s on offer is made, produced or sourced locally. The atmosphere is friendly and there’s plenty of space for kids to run around. There’s also face painting and hair braiding every weekend and other family friendly special events that happen which you can check out on their Facebook page here.

The market is walking distance from the main centre of Taupo. It’s buggy friendly and there are toilets (including baby change facilities) on site.
