Serving traditional Italian food, the menu at Fran’s Kitchen is well stocked with pizza and pasta, as well as a good selection of smaller plates and main meals that don’t feature either of these. There’s no written kids’ menu but they’re happy to do half portions of just about any pizza, pasta or main dish and your kids might well be tempted by some of the smaller plates too (e.g. meat balls or polenta chips). They have highchairs and are very accommodating of kids. If you need a distraction for the kids, check out the wood fired pizza oven inside or outside there’s a stream with a bridge which is great for playing ‘pooh sticks’ while other members of your party wait at your table for food to be served. The only down side is that you really need to book to be guaranteed a table at this popular restaurant.
