Hamilton Lake Domain (Rotoroa) Playground

Overview

Suitable for all ages

This playground is popular for its big fort-like structure with bridges, a steep and decently long tunnel slide, bucket swings and water channels that can be turned on/off and kids can try to redirect or dam up the flow. There should be something for all ages at this playground.

It’s worth noting that this playground is right near the Lake, with no fencing so kids that are likely to run off will need to be monitored especially carefully, although there is a fenced in section to this playground suited to preschoolers.

There’s car parking right nearby and a cafe next door. Alternatively, Cafe Agora in Frankton is about 2kms away.

SH1, SH3 and SH23 are all within a couple of kilometres from this domain, so it makes a good stopping off point on a journey along these roads.
