The Store is recommended as a good cafe with lots to keep kids of all ages occupied.

The cafe serves breakfast and lunch from a menu (until about 3pm) in addition to cabinet food (available till closing time). Child-sized portions are available for some of the menu items (e.g. nachos and fish and chips). Food and coffee also available to takeaway.

There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained whatever the weather with indoor games like noughts and crosses, connect 4 and chalk boards. Outside as well as the beach, there’s a cricket set and balls on the lawn and a Springfree trampoline. As if that isn’t enough there’s also access to the wild beach (NOT for swimming) where kids can run around, build teepees or forts out of driftwood, fly kites, collect shells etc etc. They’ll only be limited by their imaginations!

There’s a highchair available for little people.
